Six Impala (stylized in lowercase) are an electronic music band formed on June 17th, 2017. Their approach to electronic music is experimental and blend narrative-driven concepts with eclectic production styles. The group comprises five members: KaTT, underscores, SCRIPT, HELVETICAN, and NEUTRA (who joined in 2020).
History
[edit]Six Impala originated as an experimental music collective among close collaborators. The founding members—KaTT, underscores, SCRIPT, and HELVETICAN—focused on creating concept-driven electronic music that merged diverse genres, from glitch-hop to future bass. The collective then transitioned into a band with the release of their debut album, RUBBER (2019).
In 2020, the band expanded to include NEUTRA, a vocal synth character voiced by an anonymous voice actor. The addition of NEUTRA coincided with the release of their sophomore album, WFLYTD'.
Musical Style and Influence
