Stars College is a private, co-educational school network in Lebanon, offering trilingual education in Arabic, English, and French. Founded in 2010, the school serves students from nursery through grade 12 and follows both national and international curricula.[1]

History

Stars College was established in 2010 in Lebanon. It began with a single campus and expanded to three branches: Abbassieh, Zebdine, and Ghazieh.[2]

Academic Programs

Stars College implements the Lebanese National Curriculum and the American-style Freshman Program. It is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) and is working toward authorization for the PYP, MYP, and DP programs.[4]

Accreditation

The school is accredited by the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education and is a candidate for accreditation by Cognia, an international school quality assurance agency.[5]

Extracurricular Activities

Stars College supports a broad range of extracurricular activities. Events include the “Birds’ Breakfast” for young learners,[6] honor ceremonies for top-performing students,[7] and academic and cultural programs throughout the school year.

Community Engagement

The school regularly partners with public and international bodies, including the National News Agency,[3] the French Embassy in Beirut, and UNIFIL. Community-focused programs such as religious education are offered in partnership with local organizations.[8]

Achievements

Students from Stars College have ranked among Lebanon’s top performers in official exams and national competitions. In 2019, the school won second place in the National Science Competition.[1]
