They Found Us is an upcoming science-fiction film directed by Julius Avery.
Premise
[edit]A father and daughter encounter an alien force in the Utah wilderness.[1]
Production

[edit]The project is from from AGC Studios and Temple Hill. The film was to be directed by Neill Blomkamp with filming in Saudi Arabia and Joel Kinnaman attached to have a starring role.[2] However, due to finding issues the production halted in October 2023.[3]
In November 2024, Julius Avery took over as director with a planned filming shoot in Australia in 2025, and a recasting process.[4] The film is scripted by Jeremy Slater with with Godfrey and Marty Bowen producing for Temple Hill.[5]
