Tom Dean (30 November 2005[1]) is an English professional footballer who plays as a Midfielder for EFL League One club Exeter City.
Career
[edit]Having become an Exeter City scholar in 2022, Dean made his first team debut for Exeter City on 10 October 2023, in a 0–5 loss to Arsenal U-21s at St James Park in the group stages of the EFL Trophy, coming on as a substitute in the 73rd minute.[2][3] He subsequently captained both the clubs FA Youth Cup games during the 2023/2024 Under 18 campaign. On the 21 December 2023, Dean joined Southern League Division One South side Tavistock on a one month loan alongside U-18 teammates Sam Joce and Alfie Cunningham until 17 January 2024[4].
After an impressive campaign with the U-18 squad at n which he scored 22 goals from midfield, Dean signed a professional contract with Exeter City on 16 May 2024.[5] On the eve of the 2024/2025 campaign commencing, Dean joined Southern League Premier Division South side Plymouth Parkway in a 3 month loan alongside teammate Mitch Beardmore[6] which was subsequently extended until the end of the 2024/2025 season.
