The TRIAGON Academy (short Triagon, legally Triagon Academy Ltd.) is a Maltese private, state-recognized higher education institution with the right to award bachelor and master degrees and doctorates.[1] Its primary target group is working students who wish to pursue education and further training alongside their careers. The focus is on study programs in business administration, creative fields, psychology, and sport science.

Accreditation

[edit]

The TRIAGON Academy is officially recognized as a "Higher Education Institution" by the competent Maltese authority, the MFHEA ("Malta Further and Higher Education Authority"). It is authorized to award degrees at EQF Levels 6 (Bachelor), 7 (Master), and 8 (Doctorate).[2]

Furthermore, TRIAGON is system-accredited by the German accreditation agency ACQUIN in accordance with European quality standards. TRIAGON's Master's, DBA, and Ph.D. programs are also accredited by ACQUIN.[3]

Study Concept

[edit]

TRIAGON employs a combination of E-Learning and "virtual presence." Digital learning materials and a learning platform are supplemented by (digital) live lectures and webinars held in the evenings and on weekends. This approach aims to provide a flexible study experience compatible with professional life.

TRIAGON location in "Villa Violette"

On-site classes take place in Malta at Villa Violette, a former school building on Triq San Bernard, as well as at the premises of the Institute of Tourism Studies in Aviation Park. Additionally, TRIAGON maintains further locations in Germany (Frankfurt, Mannheim, Ismaning, Treuchtlingen, Unna, and Berlin), Austria (Vienna), Switzerland (Schaffhausen), and Ghana (Accra).[4]
