Draft:VuWall
Submission declined on 19 June 2025 by Pythoncoder (talk). This submission appears to read more like an advertisement than an entry in an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles need to be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources, not just to materials produced by the creator of the subject being discussed. This is important so that the article can meet Wikipedia's verifiability policy and the notability of the subject can be established. If you still feel that this subject is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, please rewrite your submission to comply with these policies.

VuWall, is an international technology company, owned by private equity firm Naxicap , that produces Control room software and solutions for businesses [1]. With offices in Montreal, Canada; Reutlingen, Germany and Atlanta, Georgia, VuWall employs over 75 people around the world.
About
[edit]VuWall is a Canadian-based technology company that develops video wall control systems and AV-over-IP solutions for control rooms and professional environments. The company was founded in 2009 and has headquarters in Montreal, with additional offices in Germany and the United States.[2]
Today, the company specializes in providing scalable software solutions for managing and controlling video walls of any size. VuWall's main product offering is TRx, software that combines AV-over-IP distribution, KVM (Keyboard, Video, and Mouse) management, and centralized control for multiple video walls.
VuWall has its own facilities for sales, marketing, product development, support and manufacturing[3]. Some of VuWall's biggest tech partners include Netgear[4], LG Electronics[5] and Samsung Electronics.[6]
History
[edit]VuWall was founded by Paul Vander Plaetse in 2009 with the goal of simplifying video wall management. Since its founding, the company has expanded its offerings to include both hardware and software products for visual collaboration and monitoring.[7]

Products
[edit]The company’s flagship software, TRx, combines AV distribution, KVM management, and centralized control of video walls and displays. The company also produces hardware appliances such as PAK, a video processing node, and ControlVu, a touchscreen interface for control rooms.
The TRx Centralized Management Platform is a software platform that enables control room staff to operate multiple screens from a single workstation. ControlVu is a supplemental component for TRx with a PoE touch panel designed for device control and layout management.[9]
VuWall's product suite also includes PAK, a video processing appliance for KVM (keyboard, video, mouse) operator stations and IP video walls. PAK nodes distribute video content onto multiple screens streamed from other VuWall devices without creating a single point of failure.

Notable Events
[edit]Support for first responders during COVID-19 pandemic
[edit]In 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, VuWall made its proprietary control room software free for organizations that needed it in order to create emergency video wall control centers.[17]At the time, VuWall CEO Paul Vander Plaetse was quoted:
"In this time of crisis, coordination teams within municipalities, newsrooms and healthcare facilities are actively monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and managing response efforts. These decision-makers need to access all kinds of information in order to make fast decisions and share information with their colleagues and in some cases, the public. We hope that by offering our VuWall2 for no cost as a way to create a temporary emergency video wall control center, we can aid key organizations in managing this influx of data and help keep people informed. We want to assist as many organizations as possible, which is why we will be offering first come, first served setup and support.”[18]
Security for the G7 Leadership Summit in 2022
[edit]VuWall was a supplier for the G7 Leadership Summit in 2022, which took place in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany. VuWall software was used by organizers of the 2022 G7 Summit for control room visualization.[19] Over 18,000 police officers were responsible for safeguarding the event and protecting delegates. The local municipality's skating arena was turned into a makeshift command center from where officers could oversee activity sourced from camera feeds and other devices. VuWall's TRx software was implemented to provide the control room team with a system that supported AV-over-IP protocols (h.264, SDVoE, NDI) and was compatible with over a dozen brands of AV equipment.[20]
Acquisition
[edit]In January 2025, VuWall was acquired by Naxicap Partners, a European private equity firm specializing in growth-stage technology companies. The acquisition was part of Naxicap’s strategy to invest in mission-critical control room technologies and expand its footprint in the audiovisual and IT integration sector. According to industry reports, the deal was intended to accelerate VuWall’s international growth, bolster its research and development capabilities, and strengthen its position in the AV-over-IP and video wall management markets.[21][22]
