  • Comment: Dear Lijil, Thank you for your valuable feedback on the draft. I understand the concerns regarding notability and that the previous edits focused too much on routine business activities. I have reviewed WP:NORG again and have made further revisions to the draft, specifically highlighting information that I believe establishes MergersCorp's notability based on the criteria. I believe the page now meets WP:NORG criterion A ("Has been the subject of significant coverage in reliable, independent sources") and potentially WP:NORG criterion C ("It has had a significant and demonstrable effect on culture, society, entertainment, athletics, economies, history, literature, science, or education") due to its specific and notable engagements, particularly within the professional sports sector. Here are the three best sources that I believe demonstrate notability, along with how they meet the criteria:

    * Publisher: La Repubblica (Bari edition) - a major national Italian newspaper.
    * Why it's significant: This article deals with the operation where MergersCorp supported the well-known Italian club Foggia Calcio (Formerly Seria A) in the M&A process. MergersCorp allowed the identification of the club on behalf of investors and this is of significant importance at a media and sports level.

    * Publisher: RAI (Radiotelevisione Italiana) - It is the national public broadcasting company of Italy, largely owned by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
    * Why it's significant: RAI confirmed both on TV and in newspapers and on the internet that the M&A operation was underway thanks to the careful support of MergersCorp. This obviously had a significant media impact throughout Europe and also abroad, making a tangible contribution to the sports and economic sector.

    * Publisher: Helsingin Sanomat - a major national Finnish newspaper.
    * Why it's significant: The Finnish newspaper pointed out that MergersCorp was the architect of this M&A operation in the sale of a minority stake in Crema Calcio 1908 to a group of Finnish investors. This contribution was very important as it allowed the club to be purchased by foreign investors. The news is of great importance both nationally and internationally from a sporting and economic point of view.

Press releases/annoucements, what those involved say and routine coverage do not contribute to notability. Do read WP:NCORP from top to bottom and also remove the WP:CITEKILL. Only one source is needed to support a fact, maybe two but no three or more. S0091 (talk) 19:02, 22 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
