Ed Calderon is a former law enforcement officer and is now a security consultant and combat instructor born in Tijuana, Mexico, working in USA. He have been a guest on podcasts such as The Joe Rogan Experience (episode 1302 and 1408)[1][2] and Lex Fridman Podcast (episode 346).[3]

Early life

His mother Elvia was a nurse so Ed wanted to be come a general practitioner doctor but took a job to work with the Baja state police where he worked in the fields of counter-narcotics, organized crime investigation, and public safety in the northern border region of Mexico. Ed found the ad in the newspaper seeking single men without kids for a new special police force.

Personal life

He is a single dad to a daughter. He lives in Houston, Texas.
