Erica Dunton is a British director and screenwriter. Her television directing credits include Ted Lasso (2021–2023), The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022), Outer Banks (2024), and You (2025). She has been nominated for two Directors Guild of America Awards.
Biography
[edit]Dunton's father, Joe Dunton, is a cinematographer who won the BAFTA Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema Award in 2010.[1] She has two brothers, Lester and Richard.[2] She earned a law degree from Durham University and later studied at the National Film and Television School.[2] Early in her filmmaking career, she also tutored Eve Hewson.[3]
