The PCG OCEA FPB 110 MKII-class patrol boat is a series of forty patrol boats to be built by OCEA of France for the Philippine Coast Guard based on the OCEA FPB 110 MKII design. The contract includes 9-yr maintenance contract instead of the usual 2 years and dockside equipment for six PCG bases[2]
A PHP25.4-billion contract for 40 units of fast patrol craft was signed on May 22, 2025 between the Department of Transportation and the French shipbuilder OCEA, the PCG said.
The deal will be supported through a government-to-government financing agreement under the Agreement on Financial and Development Cooperation between the Philippines and France.
Half of the 40 units under the contract will be constructed in the Philippines, contributing to job creation and technology transfer in the local shipbuilding industry.[3]
Based on their hull number prefix "FPB", they are officially classified as "fast patrol boats".
