Gilad Janklowicz (Hebrew: גלעד ינקלוביץ'; /ɡɪˈlɑːd ˈæŋkləwɪts/ ghil-AHD JANK-lə-wits;[1] born July 27, 1954) is an Israeli-born fitness personality best known for the longest running fitness television series in the United States, Bodies in Motion, and for his series Total Body Sculpt with Gilad.

Raised in Israel, Janklowicz has been an athlete devoted to fitness since his high school days. He was an Olympic hopeful for the decathlon, and became a fitness instructor while in the Israeli military. Janklowicz later moved to Los Angeles to attend the UCLA film school. In Los Angeles, he built up a following as a fitness instructor for various gyms and exercise studios. Janklowicz is the creator of more than thirty exercise video titles. He has also been featured in many print publications, including Arnold's Body Building For Men, in which it mentions Janklowicz trained for the 1984 Olympics.[citation needed]

Bodies in Motion launched in 1983 as a half-hour aerobic workout show, and was the first fitness-related show on ESPN, where it aired from 1985 to 1996. Most recently, it aired on Discovery Fit and Health.[2] Gilad also hosted a game show called Gilad's Minds In Motion on the History Channel 2.5 Network from 1999 to 2002, in which the contestants had to view a monitor showing the muscles of a Bodies in Motion cast member and guess whose they were. After each round, the contestants were shown less of the cast members' bodies, which made guessing more difficult as the game progressed. Total Body Sculpt with Gilad is a half-hour show featuring sculpting exercises using weights and/or bands. From 2004 to 2010, the series ran on FitTV until Discovery combined their health and fitness channels. It is currently seen on JLTV Jewish Life Television. In April 2020, the show also aired on Vice on TV in the Netherlands,.[3]

In March 2007, Janklowicz was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame.
