Golden Safe Co., Ltd. (Thai: บริษัท โกลเด้นเซฟ จำกัด) is a Thai family-owned business founded by Lerpong Assawachaichit, with origins dating back to the 1940s in Werng Nakhon Kasem (Bangkok Chinatown) and formally established under its current structure in the late 20th century. As of 2025, the group remains privately owned and operated by the Assawachaichit family. Goldensafe specializes in the importing, manufacturing, distribution, and servicing of safe boxes, vaults, and steel office furniture. It is one of the major distributor of safe and security products in Thailand.[1]
Background
[edit]King Industries Co., Ltd., producing safes, vault doors, filing cabinets, lockers, and office furniture under the KINGSTEEL brand, was established in 1989.[2]
Lerpong Assawachaichit is Chairman and CEO of both Golden Safe Co., Ltd. and King Industries Co., Ltd. His eldest son, Jiratep Assawachaichit, is the Director of Golden Safe, while his second son, Siriwat Assawachaichit, serves as Director of King Industries. His second daughter, Salinee Assawachaichit,[3] is the Chief Manager at King Industries.

[edit]Founded from the family’s original safe business and headquartered in Bang Rak District, Bangkok, Golden Safe Co., Ltd. is the group's retail and distribution arm. The company serves a broad client base including banks, hotels, government agencies, educational institutions, retailers, and private homeowners. Golden Safe is an authorized distributor of both domestic and international brands, including:[4]
The company offers custom safes and vaults made to client specifications, and provides nationwide delivery, consultation, installation, maintainance and repair services. It operates from a flagship showroom on Rama IV Road, with additional warehousing and logistical support across Thailand.[5]
King Industries Co., Ltd.
[edit]Established in 1989, King Industries Co., Ltd. is the manufacturing side of Lerpong's business ventures. The company is independent from Goldensafe but work in tandom with it. The company produces a wide range of steel security products under the KINGSTEEL brand. Its portfolio includes:[2]

- Steel desks, tables, and storage units
King Industries operates from two of its factory facility in the outskirts of Bangkok, with in-house design, engineering, fabrication, and testing capabilities. It established a diverse clientele across various sectors in Thailand. Their clients include government agencies, financial institutions, educational establishments, and private enterprises.[6] Their clients includes: PTT, NaRaYa, Farm Chokchai, Faculty of Medicine Chulalongkorn University, Hilton, After You, SCG, the Ritz-Carlton, and more.
