[edit]

Drake started his wrestling career in the independent circuit in 2017 and was trained by Cam Carter and LaBron Kozone. In 2019, Drake formed a tag team with Jay Malachi as Wrestling Prodigies, winning the FSPW Tag Team Championship and PWF Tag Team Championship.[1] He also made appearances in All Elite Wrestling, between 2022 and 2024, appearing at least one match each year.[2][3]

WWE (2023–present)

[edit]

Drake competed on the May 15, 2023 edition of Raw, under the name Drake Thompson, where he and his partner Lavar Barbie were defeated by Indus Sher (Sanga, and Veer).[4][5] On November 15, 2024, it was reported that he was signed to WWE under the WWE ID program.[6] On the March 5, 2025 episode of Evolve, Drake and Swipe Right (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) lost to Jack Cartwheel, Sean Legacy and Cappuccino Jones in a six-man tag team match in Evolve's first main event after its revival in WWE.[7] The following month, Drake and Swipe Right formed The Vanity Project stable with Bryce Donovan and Zayda Steel.[8] On the June 4 episode of Evolve, Drake won a fatal four-way elimination match to become the inaugural Evolve Champion, defeating Legacy, Edris Enofe and Keanu Carver.[9][10]
