Jay R. Moorman (MOOR-man; born July 1972),[1] is an American CEO of Chesapeake Technology International (CTI) as of May 2022.

Early work

Moorman worked in the U.S. defense and intelligence communities at Bell Labs[2] and Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. He was also President at LGS Innovations. Moorman has multiple degrees in technology, with a PhD in electrical engineering.[3]

Moorman also worked at CACI International Inc being Senior Vice President and Operating Group Lead, where he focused on signals intelligence and advanced engineering solutions.[3]

Moorman began to work at Chesapeake Technology International,[4] a leading technology provider company, under Bluestone Investment Partner,[2] in the spring of 2022 as chief technology officer (CTO). His joining created a new mindset for the company on how it could scale its offerings and put them together.[4]

Career

Soon after becoming CTO at Chesapeake Technology International, Moorman became CEO in May 2022,[5] succeeding CTI founder Dustan Hellwig.[6] At CTI, Moorman has developed and implemented government and commercial solutions growth for the company.[5]
