Julian and the Wind is a Canadian short drama film, written and directed by Connor Jessup and released in 2024.[1] The film stars David Webster as Arthur, a boarding school student whose unrequited love for his roommate Julian (Joel Oulette) becomes transformed into a deeper connection when Julian begins sleepwalking.[2]

The film premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.[1]

The film was named to TIFF's annual Canada's Top Ten list for 2024.[3]

The film also had its international premiere at the Berlin Film Festival 2025, where it was nominated for a Teddy Award. It was also nominated for a Silver Bear Award.

The film was also chosen to premiere at the Pink Apple Film Festival at Zurich, Switzerland, which is the biggest LGBTQ themed film festival.
