Juljan Shehu (born 6 September 1998)[1] is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ekstraklasa club Widzew Łódź and the Albania national team.[2][3][4]

Early life

Shehu was born in Tirane, Albania.[1]

Club career

In 2017, Shehu moved from Internacional to Greek side Paniliakos, where he made 21 league appearances.[2]

Kastrioti

In mid-2018, he signed with Kastrioti, where he made 31 league appearances and scored four goals throughout the 2018–19 season.[2][3]

Laçi

In 2019, Shehu joined fellow Kategoria Superiore side Laçi. He played 33 matches and scored two goals in the first season at the club. In the following league campaign, he played 32 matches and scored two goals. In his third year, Shehu made 33 league appearances and scored four goals, as Laçi finished second in the league.[2][3]

Widzew Łódź

On 10 June 2022, Shehu signed a two-year deal with Polish Ekstraklasa club Widzew Łódź.[5] He played 24 matches in the 2022–23 season and 8 matches in the 2023–24 campaign.[6] On 28 February 2025, he scored his first Ekstraklasa goal in a 1–1 draw against Radomiak Radom.[7]

International career

Shehu made his debut for Albania on 24 March 2025 in the 2026 World Cup qualification match against Andorra, a 3–0 victory for his side.[8]
