Kory Barnett is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach for the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.

Playing career

He committed to play college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers, joining the team as a preferred walk-on.[1] During his collegiate career, Barnett played in 49 games where he averaged 0.2 points, 0.2 rebounds, and 0.1 assists per game.[2]

Coaching career

Barnett got his first coaching job as a graduate assistant at his alma mater Indiana in 2012.[3] In 2013, Barnett was hired by the UCLA Bruins where until 2019 in various roles as an assistant coach, director of operations, player development and scouting, and the video coordinator.[4] Ahead of the 2019 season, Barnett was hired as an assistant coach for the Nevada Wolf Pack.[5] In 2024, he joined the West Virginia Mountaineers as an assistant coach.[6] On March 28, 2025, Barnett was hired as the next head coach for the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.[7]
