macOS Tahoe (version 26) is a twenty-third major version of MacOS developed by Apple inc.[2] It was announced on June 9, 2025 at Apple Worldwide Developers Conference.[3][4]
Features
[change | change source]macOS Tahoe has a new design called "Liquid Glass" which included in app icons and desktop.[5] It has a ChatGPT and other AI models for Xcode.[6] It has a phone app and live activities.[7][8] Spotlight lets users take hundreds of actions.[9] Users able to create and vote poll in iMessage.
Development and supported devices
[change | change source]The first developer beta of macOS Tahoe has been released on June 9, 2025. macOS Tahoe is the last update for Intel Macs.[10]
