Maeve Callan

Maeve Brigid Callan is an Irish medievalist, and religion professor at Simpson College.
Education and career
[edit]Callan received her B.A. from Pomona College in 1992, and then received her M.Phil from Trinity College Dublin in 1994. She earned a Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 1998. As of 2025 she is a professor of religion at Simpson College.[1][2]
Honors and awards
[edit]Callan received the Michael Adams Prize from the American Society for Irish Medieval Studies in 2020.[3]
