Maeve Callan

Maeve Brigid Callan is an Irish medievalist, and religion professor at Simpson College.

Education and career

Callan received her B.A. from Pomona College in 1992, and then received her M.Phil from Trinity College Dublin in 1994. She earned a Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 1998. As of 2025 she is a professor of religion at Simpson College.[1][2]

Honors and awards

Callan received the Michael Adams Prize from the American Society for Irish Medieval Studies in 2020.[3]
