Mangala

Mangala (Sanskrit: मङ्गल, IAST: Maṅgala) is the name for Mars, the red planet, in Hindu texts. Also known as Lohita (meaning: the red one), he is the god of anger, celibacy and sometimes linked to god Kartikeya (Skanda).
