Michael Agyekum Addo (born 3 January 1950) is a Ghanaian businessman and founder of the KAMA Group of companies and also the Nkabomhene of the New Juaben Traditional Area at Koforidua in the Eastern Region.[1]

Early life and education

Michael Addo was born in Suhyen, near Koforidua in Ghana’s Eastern Region. He completed his secondary education at Ghana Senior High School, Koforidua and got a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He obtained a postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Management in 1982 and a Master’s degree in industrial management with a focus on entrepreneurship in 1998. He graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the University of Ghana in January 2022 at the age of 72.[2][3]

Death

Michael Agyekum Addo passed away on1 November 2024 at the age of 74.[4]
