N-iX is a privately held software development and IT consulting company founded in 2002 in Lviv, Ukraine and headquartered in Malta. The company provides software engineering, cloud solutions, artificial intelligence, data analytics, and consulting services across multiple industries, including finance, manufacturing, retail, and healthcare.[1] As of 2024, N-iX operates globally, with delivery centers in Europe, Latin America, and Asia.[2]

History

N-iX was originally established in August 2002 as Novellix by Andrew Pavliv and partners.[1] Its first major client was Novell, for which the company developed Linux-based applications. After Novell acquired the developed technology in 2003, the company was rebranded as N-iX.[3]

In subsequent years, N-iX expanded its client portfolio, working with companies such as StreamServe (later acquired by OpenText), and providing development and consulting services to international clients.[4]

Between 2015 and 2018, the company opened additional offices in the United States and Poland, experiencing significant growth.[1] By 2019, N-iX had grown by 331% over a three-year period and was included in the Inc. 5000 Europe list of fastest-growing European companies.[5]

In 2022, N-iX expanded into Latin America by opening a development center in Medellín, Colombia.[6] In 2023 and 2024, the company opened delivery centers in Romania and India.[7][8]

N-iX provides services in software engineering, artificial intelligence and machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), embedded systems and IoT, cybersecurity, and robotic process automation (RPA).[9] The company serves clients from industries including financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, telecom, automotive, energy, agritech, and logistics.[10]

According to publicly available information, N-iX has worked with companies such as Bosch, Siemens, eBay, Inditex, First Student, and AVL.[11]

Awards and recognition

Between 2016 and 2019, N-iX was included in the Inc. 5000 Europe list of fastest-growing companies.[12] The company has also been listed in the Software 500 rankings.[13]

N-iX has appeared multiple times in the Global Outsourcing 100 ranking compiled by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).[14][15]

In 2023, Forbes Ukraine included N-iX among the Top 50 Employers in Ukraine, ranking it 21st overall and 10th among IT companies.[1][16]
