[edit]In June 2018, McCormack was removed from his role following allegations he had posted comments critical of Israel on a private Twitter account.[3] The comments, reported by Jewish News Syndicate, included posts that noted “We have overwhelmingly enabled Israel’s bad behavior” describing the United States' relationship with Israel.[1]
A Pentagon official confirmed to The Daily Wire McCormack had been removed, pending a probe into his conduct.[4]
