Protgenoi are the gods which were considered the first in existence. The Protogenoi gods are ancestors to the greek and roman gods. They are often seen embodying their own elements, not really much human form. Some protogenoi are-
Gaia, Chaos, Nyx, Erebus, Hamera, Aether, Pontus, Ananke and Ouranous.
