The Regency Park Branch Library is a public library that serves Port Richey and New Port Richey in Pasco County, Florida. It is a part of the Pasco County Library Cooperative. The library is located at 9701 Little Rd, New Port Richey, Florida.[1]
Services
[edit]All books in the Pasco County Library Cooperative can be taken and returned at any location.[2] The library has 87,000 volumes, while circulating 333,000 a year.[3] Additionally, the library has a kitchen makerspace that teaches cooking classes.[4]
History
[edit]Regency Park Branch Library was first constructed in 1990, funded by a Pasco County Bond Referendum. It opened on October 26, 1990.
Later on in 2007, the building was expanded to include a children's area, a computer lab, and study rooms.[5]
In October 2023, the Regency Park Library underwent renovations, including a fully equipped kitchen, to teach cooking.[4] The renovations were completed on March 25, 2024. Other food-related topics will have classes, such as nutrition.[6]
