Rohit Jugraj Chauhan is an Indian writer and director in the Punjabi cinema and Bollywood film industry.[1][2] Rohit, moved to digital storytelling with his big superhit on Netflix Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein. Rohit has the credit of being the only director in Punjabi Film Industry to direct Diljeet Dosanjh with Sardaar Ji 1, 2 &3 franchise & also Gippy Grewal's Chamak. He has written screenplay for films like Players. He was assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ram Gopal Varma

Personal life

He was born in a Rajput family. He met Viveka Babajee while he was directing his first film, James. They were in a serious relationship for two years and they broke up in 2007.[3]
