Safsar (Persian: صف سر, also Romanized as Şafsar, Sefaser, and Şaf-e Sar; also known as Şafat Sar and Şafḩ Sar)[1] is a suburban neighborhood in the city of Rasht in Gilan Province, Iran.
Formerly it was a village in Pasikhan Rural District, in the Central District of Rasht County. [2]
Population
[edit]At the 2006 census, its population was 835 with 213 households.[3] In 2016 its population increased to 1,703 people in 507 households.[4]
