Sahlan (Persian: سهلان)[a] is a village in Aji Chay Rural District[4] of the Central District in Tabriz County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran. The ancient city of Gilikhan is located near Sahlan.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 3,025 in 641 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,379 people in 877 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 3,664 people in 1,036 households.[2]
