Santhosh Kumar (Hindi: संतोष कुमार born in 15 July 2005, Rajasthan, India) is an Indian cybersecurity researcher, ethical hacker and cyber theorist.[1][2][3][4]
Career
[edit]According to Rajasthan Patrika, Santhosh began his career in cybersecurity during his teenage years.[1] By the age of 17, he was already helping victims of cyber fraud and had exposed multiple online fraudsters.[1] His efforts in educating people online about cybercrime prevention helped him rise rapidly in the cybersecurity space.[1]
In 2024, he founded Zero Defend Security, a cybersecurity company.[4][5]
Cybersecurity Contributions
[edit]Santhosh Kumar created Vastav AI, India’s first AI-powered deepfake detection system with 99% accuracy.[6][7][8] The tool analyzes videos, images, and audio for signs of synthetic manipulation using facial analysis, lighting detection, texture anomalies, and metadata.[9][10] The project won recognition from CID Karnataka for innovation in cybersecurity.[3][11]
