ShareChat (शेयरचैट) is a social media platform from India. It is owned by a company called Mohalla Tech, which is based in Bangalore. ShareChat was started by Ankush Sachdeva, Bhanu Pratap Singh, and Farid Ahsan, and the company was officially formed on 8 January 2015.

ShareChat is popular because it lets people use the app in 15 different Indian languages, making it easy for many users across the country to connect. Today, it has more than 350 million people using it every month. The company is now valued at $5 billion.[1]
