Simona Mohamsson

Simona Mohamsson (born 27 December 1994) is a Swedish politician for the Liberals. On 19 June 2025, she was nominated to become the party's next leader. [1] Previously she was the vice-chairman of the Liberal Youth of Sweden (LUF).[2] She was born and grew up in Hamburg in Germany, and moved to Sweden at the age of eight.[3] Upon moving to Sweden the family changed their last name from Mohammed to Mohamsson[4]. Her father is Palestinian and her mother is from Lebanon.[4]
