"Took Responsibility" but did not resign?

According to the article, Ronen Bar "took responsibility" for failing to prevent the October 7th 2023 attack - it quotes him as saying "the responsibility is mine" - but the article does NOT say that Ronen Bar resigned as head of Shin Bet, or even offered to do so.
