Baby Don't Cry (Korean: 베이비 돈 크라이; RR: Beibi Don Keurai) is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by P Nation. The group consists of four members: Yihyun, Kumi, Mia, and Unknown. They debuted on June 23, 2025, with debut single 'F Girl'.[2]
Name
[edit]The groups name, Baby Don't Cry, shortens to "BDC" which is being used across all of it's social media platforms. Other than this, there is not yet an official meaning to the group's name.[3]
History
[edit]2025–present: Introduction and debut
[edit]On February 6, 2025, it was announced that P Nation was preparing to debut a girl group in sometime in 2025. In the same article, it was also teased that i-dle's Jeon Soyeon would be the creative director and producer of the group's work.[4]
On April 11, 2025, PSY posted a review of four of P Nations trainees considered for the future group's lineup.[5] The same day it was announced that the girls would be going by P Girls(피걸즈) for the time being, and that they would debut in the near future.[6]
On June 9, 2025, P Nation open social media accounts for Baby Don't Cry, reporting that they would release a pre-release single on June 16 and make their official debut on June 23.[7] For the next 4 days, the members of the group were revealed one by one on the group's Instagram account.[8]
On June 16, it was announced that Baby Don't Cry would make their debut with "F Girl" on June 23 and the music video for 'Bet You'll Regret It' featuring Jeon Soyeon was pre-released.[9] Their debut single album, F Girl, released on June 23, which included "Bet You'll Regret It" and the album's title track "F Girl", the latter of which was released with a music video.[10]
