Surongo 2 is a planned Bangladeshi psychological action thriller film by Raihan Rafi, to be produced by Shahriar Shakil under the banners of Alpha-i and Chorki. It will serve as a sequel to the 2023 film Surongo and form part of the Raihan Rafi Cinematic Universe, a shared media franchise that began with Surongo (2023) and continued with Taandob (2025).

Premise

The official story for Surongo 2 has not yet been announced. It is expected to continue the narrative of Masud—first introduced in Surongo—and explore the aftermath of his tunnel heist, though plot details remain under wraps.

Talk of a sequel to Surongo emerged following its 2023 success, but as of July 2023, director Raihan Rafi stated there were no definite plans to proceed without a compelling story concept. The producer, Redoan Rony, likewise noted that any sequel would require a strong script foundation before development could begin.

No formal announcement regarding scripting, casting, or green-lighting has been made. Sources indicate the creative team is evaluating narrative directions within the Raihan Rafi Cinematic Universe continuity before entering full pre-production.
