Taherestan (Persian: طهرستان) is a village in Khanandabil-e Sharqi Rural District[2] of the Central District in Khalkhal County, Ardabil province, Iran.

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was below the reporting threshold.[3] The following census in 2011 again counted a population below the reporting threshold.[4] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 53 people in 18 households.[1]
