- ... that research for a previous book about journalism led Amahl Bishara to write Crossing a Line: Laws, Violence, and Roadblocks to Palestinian Political Expression?
** ALT1: ... that Crossing a Line intersperses ethnographic research about Palestinian political expression with narratives of the author's own experiences crossing the Green Line?
- ALT2: ... that Crossing a Line compares Palestinian political expression on either side of the Green Line between Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories?
- ALT3: ... that Crossing a Line combines a formal ethnography of Palestinian political expression with stories of the author's own experiences crossing the Green Line?

ALT3: ... that Crossing a Line is an ethnography about Palestinian political expression in Israel and the occupied territories? Makeandtoss (talk) 13:18, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for the review, Makeandtoss. I don't think that just stating the topic of the book is enough to make a hook interesting. I've added a couple of ALTs above. Take a look when you have a chance? ezlev (user/tlk/ctrbs) 21:25, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- ِALT2 is more interesting so that should work.

Crossing a Line (book) → Crossing a Line – Crossing a Line is currently a primary redirect for a song with no article, and receives essentially zero traffic. Move this book to the primary topic, with a hatnote back to Crossing a Line (song). 162 etc. (talk) 16:47, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support per nom and the spirit of WP:SONGDAB. Mdewman6 (talk) 18:23, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- Support per nomination and Mdewman6. This would even meet the standard for uncontroversial technical request since the song "Crossing a Line" receives barely a mention within the Post Traumatic article and, while it should probably have a hatnote atop the book's entry pointing to its Post Traumatic in-passing mention, it doesn't really rise to the level of having its own redirect, thus giving the mistaken impression that it has a separate entry, although a couple of the 16 songs at Post Traumatic#Track listing also have such redirects. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 20:58, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
- Comment the new hatnote should also include wikt:en:cross the line, as in common usage, "crossing a line" would refer to that -- 65.93.183.249 (talk) 04:16, 24 May 2025 (UTC)

- Note that Crossing a Line and Crossing the Line are not the same thing, and the latter already links to Wiktionary. 162 etc. (talk) 20:11, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
- "crossing a line" is a variant of "crossing the line" thus the same definition on Wiktionary fits. -- 65.93.183.249 (talk) 20:29, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
- I suppose we could replace the wiktionary link with a
