Accuracy of island names
[edit]The list of islands is not mine, it was taken from the Rhinogradentia article. Can anyone confirm that it is accurate? Thanks.... Jorge Stolfi 21:44, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
Variant spellings
[edit]Are the variant spellings from other languages? Jorge Stolfi 21:44, 31 January 2006 (UTC)
- Sure there are. In the original edition Steiner gave the following German variants: Heieiei-Archipel, Heidadeifi, Ausadausa, Mairúvili, Lautengako (that's the one you misspelled with a T), Launanoia, Mitadina, and Isasofa (in english Esusoffa; this island is missing in your list). Further, Mt. Showunnoonda is Schauanunda and Mt. Kotsbowsy is Kozobausi. - Konunanautupeih (talk) 16:51, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
Merge with Rhinogradentia?
[edit]This isn't that notable in itself. It could be a subsection of Rhinogradentia called "habitat and distribution" or some such. FunkMonk (talk) 02:19, 13 July 2014 (UTC)
- @FunkMonk: I have to agree with this. I definitely think the hoax/books/fictional species is notable, but Hi-yi-yi is most certainly one of the less important details in the "Steiner universe". I'm going to try to make some improvements to Rhinogradentia and have somewhat boldly merged the content from this article into that one. --— Rhododendrites talk | 01:04, 29 September 2014 (UTC)
