It seems there's some good info here, but 1. the article cites no sources and 2. It's unclear to me if this trumped up list meets WP:NLIST Delectopierre (talk) 08:13, 2 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
That is too much to merge to this page. It's already tagged for a lack of sources, and merging will not fix sourcing issues. CMD (talk) 12:59, 2 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose: Article definitely needs much improvement, specially adding sources, but is not just a list. It has relevant information. Subject is notable. Itzcuauhtli11 (talk) 19:46, 4 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose: despite the lack of sourcing, the topic has too much potential content to be turned into a redirect or merged. ―Howard • 🌽3312:13, 11 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
So where it shows the breakdown of ethnic groups in Honduras it says “Mixed indigenous and Spanish” I would like to state why it should say “mixed Indigenous, European, and African” or simple “Mestizo”. First reason if you see online you will see that genetic testing has revealed that the majority of Hondurans (the ones that identify as mestizo) actually have significant African ancestry usually ranging from 15-25% on average so u would like to say that it is not accurate for it to say that mestizo Hondurans are strictly Euro-Indigenous when in reality we are very diversely mixed. I know that “oh mestizo means euro-indigenous” but it’s true we are mixed with African as wel not just Euro-indigenous. In the Dominican Republic they identify as mestizo as well but you can’t tell they aren’t obviously mixed with African as well. Mestizo means very different things in many different ways it’s not strictly how it was like in the 1600s when the Spanish created the Caste system. I hope this has shed some light on the topic and I sincerely appreciate you reading this. 2600:387:F:5634:0:0:0:4 (talk) 21:48, 29 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Extended-confirmed-protected edit request on 31 May 2025
The purpose of a formal edit request is to ask someone to make an edit that you would have made yourself if the page wasn't protected. If you don't have a specific edit or set of edits in mind, but you just think something is wrong with existing content, just create an ordinary discussion here. Either way, you need to provide sources that will establish your claim. Largoplazo (talk) 11:14, 5 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
