The galaxy is refered to both as IC 4444 and as IC 4441. However, IC 4441 sometimes (including in SIMBAD) refers to another galaxy, PGC 51825, as the original coordinates of IC 4441 don't correspond to an object. I thus choose the IC 4444 number for the name of the galaxy. C messier (talk) 13:45, 20 March 2025 (UTC)
