The Sirius flown by Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh on their historic flight via the great circle flight was described in Annes book "North to the Orient". On page 26 of the tenth printing, she describes the engine as a "six-hundred-horse-power cyclone engine". 66.66.74.241

the smithsonian says it was a "680-hp Wright Cyclone", [R-1820-19 - 675 hp (503 kW)?] upgraded to a "Wright Cyclone SR1820-F2 engine of 710 horsepower" [1] Accotink2 talk 17:10, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
