Merge from Maximal length code

I just proposed merging Maximal length code into this article because they seem to be the same things as n-sequences. But I just found Maximum length sequence which is yet another article describing the same thing. I also find references on the Internet to m-sequences, which seems to be yet another name for the same thing. Are all four of these the same, and if so, why not put all the information about it into one article? Or are some sublty different from others, and if so, why aren't we clear in describing the distinctions?
