Excess detail alert not discussed in talk page

[edit]

Perhaps it was a previous version, but this article doesn’t seem to long. The details are delightful for this classic TV show. I’m deleting the Excess detail alert.

Let's add to the section Parodies Emo Rangers, a series that has around 700K views in 2025 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oy4s6oZ5w4

It was quite popular in emo music scene. Mustti (talk) 21:46, 21 April 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Home Media and Streaming, plus Comics

[edit]

I suggest that the lists of released Power Rangers DVDs and comics should be deleted. I don't think it looks good or that it's necessary to keep them there. Angel135 (talk) 22:22, 28 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Main paragraph

[edit]

Can I delete this?

"It was first produced in 1993 by Saban Entertainment (later BVS Entertainment), which Saban sold to the Walt Disney Company and then brought back under his now-defunct successor company Saban Brands within his current company, Saban Capital Group."

I think saying that the first show was produced by Saban is just fine. I don't think readers would like to know that Saban had a media company inside of his investment company, it's unnecessary.

Also, Toei Company is mentioned twice in the same paragraph. I was thinking of being explicit about the fact that Power Rangers is an American adaptation of not just the Sentai TV show, but also its merchandize brand. Looking at Transformers, it says "The franchise began in 1984 with the Transformers toy line, comprising transforming mecha toys from Takara's Diaclone and Micro Change toylines rebranded for Western markets." Something similar could be fine. Angel135 (talk) 01:13, 1 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
