Introduction appropriate?

No, it's not. Quite a lot of what is in the intro should be in "History" or "Criticism" sections. The intro should be more a summary of the services operated by the SABC now (i.e. 3 TV stations, X radio stations, etc.). - htonl 10:13, 6 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction not objective

The following statement is clearly subjective and has no citation or any immediately obvious reason why it is true:

"...privately owned broadcasters such as eTV are reputedly more objective and less selective in their news coverage."

Thank you for your suggestion! When you feel an article needs improvement, please feel free to make whatever changes you feel are needed. Updates?

This page needs to be updated. There is vital information missing - the SABC screwups, particularly. I'd do it but: I don't even know where to start; I'm biased; and I'm not sure I have my facts straight.
