Car Wars

I'm almost certain this is an entirely different show with a similar format. Can anyone dig any further? 94.193.255.112 (talk) 19:10, 17 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Car Wars was the original Traffic Cops, following the Greater Manchester Police. There may have been a couple of series, I'm not sure. It is still occasionally repeated on satellite channels. I suspect the name changed to avoid confusion with the Sky TV programme Road Wars, which started at the same time the BBC adopted the Traffic Cops title.
