grounded videos
In 2011,a goanimate video was made called "how to ground someone!!!". It spawned more remakes featuring different people getting grounded for random reasons for multiple years. These videos were heavily criticized Thus causing goanimate to remove various themes that were used to make these videos plus "barney errors" and fetish videos. A main character in these videos is a canadian child named Caillou. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.12.69.107 (talk • contribs)
If you unprotect the page then I'll add this to the article.
- @68.12.69.107: If you can provide reliable sources then we will go ahead and add the content. However I highly doubt this'll happen as it doesn't appear of notability and I doubt you'll find the sources. CatcherStorm talk 22:43, 15 January 2016 (UTC)
@:@Catcherstorm:: http://goanimate.wikia.com/wiki/Grounded%20Videos only one I could find.the only other sources were removed or deleted.

- Wikia...um...yeah... that can't be a source.... at all. It's even more editable by anyone than Wikipedia, in my opinion. Zeke Essiestudy (talk) 15:55, 7 February 2016 (UTC)
admins, permanently lock GoAnimate so admins only can edit it.

- It's unlikely that an administrator will see this note here. To get a faster response, you can use Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. This page is currently semi-protected, and full protection so that only admins can edit it doesn't appear necessary at this point. Deli nk (talk) 11:06, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
GoAnimate article need full protection...
indefinite full protection From semi-protection to full indefinite protection that only admins can edit it. It's considerably a high-risk article/template 112.209.86.65 (talk) 05:54, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
- Declined. Please stop making pointless protection requests all over the place. --NeilN talk to me 06:27, 18 November 2015 (UTC)

WikiProject coverage change proposal
In absence of any good sources in respect of the so-called Grounded videos, I am proposing to remove this article from the scope of the Internet culture WikiProject.
The article will continue to be served by the (general) Internet WikiProject, in the context of Vyond's historic partnership with YouTube. --Minoa (talk) 06:19, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
supposed closedown
There have been repeated attempts to add a claim that Vyond is closing down at the end of this year. There have been zero sources, and the supposed date of the announcement has nothing on the website's blog. Do not readd this material without a reliable source. --Nat Gertler (talk)— Preceding undated comment added 16:11, 6 June 2020 (UTC)

Wrapper: Offline
In addition to grounded videos, recreations of the old GoAnimate interface, including Wrapper: Offline and FlashThemes, should also not be added to the article, as no reliable, published source exists for either of them. AKK700 03:56, 30 September 2023 (UTC)
- In addition, the whole article should be reviewed. The only main reason why Vyond got an article was because of the YouTube Create partnership, but that's about it as far as I am aware. --Minoa (talk) 05:36, 30 September 2023 (UTC)
- Adding grounded videos to the page is a dumb idea. Tedmcbur (talk) 15:18, 7 November 2023 (UTC)
- I honestly beg to differ. Toontown Online also makes mention of Toontown Rewritten. OmegaWalksForever (talk) 21:29, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
