[edit]- from the second paragraph: In Japan [chimes] produce pleasant ringing sounds
Do chimes in other countries have some alternative use of which I am unaware?--Vlmastra 03:21, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
The history here is bad I found this site http://www.outdora.com/brhiofwich.html but no time to update article--HJED (talk) 22:56, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
That site has no references for verification. The history that is there now is sited for the most part. Esc861 (talk) 21:41, 23 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit]audio file "Windchimes.ogg" linked in article is actually the sound of thunder, not of a windchime. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.107.66.74 (talk) 15:38, 16 October 2014 (UTC)
Chimecho's Cry
[edit]I bet if you've got a good musical ear you can figure out the notes to Chingling's cry, but Chimecho's cry is literally just 3 chimes one after another, like it says on this page. I've always wondered how they come up with Pokémon cries.
Though, I only came here because somehow I know the notes of Chimecho's cry: C, Bb, B.
