The following is a timeline of incidents of political violence in Spain resulting in human casualties since 1975 to the present day.

In October 1975, Spanish dictator Francisco Franco died, marking the beginning of the country's transition to democracy. This period of political instability was accompanied by high levels of political violence which reached their peak in the late seventies and early eighties. Since then, political violence in Spain has been steadily decreasing.

Responsible parties include Basque separatist group ETA (responsible for the largest number of deaths), leftist terrorist group GRAPO, far-right organisations with links to the security forces such as BVE, AAA or Guerrilleros de Cristo Rey, state sponsored terrorist organisation GAL, Islamic and Arab terrorist organisations, other leftist militant groups, other Basque, Catalan, Galician and Canarian separatist groups and Spanish security forces.
