Lee Chae-won (Korean: 이채원; born September 27, 2002), known professionally as Tarzzan, is a South Korean model and contemporary dancer.
Early life
[edit]Lee Chae-won was born on September 27, 2002,[1] in Ulsan, South Korea. He was first introduced to dance through a ballerina cousin, and formally pursued the art through modern dance, his major at the Busan Arts High School ,[2] and contemporary dance at the Korea National University of Arts.[3]
Career
[edit]2018–2024: Career beginnings
[edit]After ranking first place at the Korea International Contemporary Dance Competition held in 2018, Lee Chae-won emerged as a promising dancer by winning gold medals for two consecutive years at the 49th and 50th Dong-A International Contemporary Dance Competitions in 2019 and 2020, becoming the first Korean male dancer to accomplish this milestone.[4] Furthermore, he placed first abroad for the categories in contemporary dance, including at the 2021 Tanz Olympia Asia Grand Prix,[4] the 2022 Internationales Tanz Festival in Berlin,[5] and the 2022 Valentina Kozlova International Ballet Competition in New York.[4]
Lee signed with YG KPlus and debuted as a model at the 2022 Seoul Fashion Week. He featured on the pages of several fashion magazine,[6] including Vogue and GQ,[2] and walked the runways of 2024 Milan Fashion Week.[7]
2025–present: Debut with AllDay Project
[edit]In June 2025, Lee was formally introduced as a member of AllDay Project, a five-member co-ed group under The Black Label.[8] He debuted with the group under the stage name "Tarzzan" and the single album Famous on June 23.[9]
Artistry
[edit]Lee describes the expression of the body to a language, stating the attractiveness of directly conveying something with just energy, from something "beautiful" to something "grotesque".[2]

[edit]Lee and Cho Yi-hyun became Reebok's official ambassadors for its Vector 93 summer collection.[10]
Philanthropy
[edit]In 2022, Lee participated and sold his items at the "Eco-friendly Charity Bazaar", organized by the Hope Friends Hunger Relief. Its proceeds were donated to "Spring B Salon" (봄B살롱), operated by Happy Sharing, a social enterprise for the relief of the hungry.[11]
