Question[edit]

Why are tree-tables and breadcrumbs missing? Solarapex 00:23, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Breadcrumb added. There is no article about tree-tables, so I didn't add a link, per WP:NAVBOX. I think these can be described in article about tree views. Ian (87.205.214.247 (talk) 11:10, 2 March 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Template name[edit]

Currently, this template's title is "Widgets"; would renaming the template "Widgets" (or "GUI widgets") make sense? Sardanaphalus (talk) 16:09, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, please rename (but that implies some work resolving redirects). There are widgets that are not directly about user interfaces, and certainly user interface elements that are not widgets. Wikidemon (talk) 19:32, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sounds like the name should be "GUI widgets". I'll get round to it sooner rather than later, but, in case it shouldn't be "GUI widgets", not immediately. Sardanaphalus (talk) 08:23, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Task Pane[edit]

What about adding "task pane" to the list? Unfortunately, it has no article. Galzigler (talk) 08:00, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If it has no article, why do you want it in a navigation template? Diego (talk) 09:58, 11 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It was a suggestion to add an article about it, and a request for approval, but I don't know where to begin. Galzigler (talk) 15:50, 12 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
First thing you have to do is find some reliable sources that describe the widget in depth. There can't be an article without those. If you have them, you can start the article yourself or ask for it to be created. If there are not enough sources, it would be better to add a couple of paragraphs to context menu (I understand task panes are a special, persistent version of those). I did revert my wrong version but may be my network is disconnected. Thank to IP. Alphama (talk) 09:32, 8 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
